MyCampaign ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MyCampaign platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password (which is hashed and stored securely by our authentication provider). If you sign in via X (Twitter) OAuth, we receive your public profile information from that platform.

Organization Data: You may submit contacts (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, tags), donor records (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, donation history), and event information to the platform.

Usage & Log Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, pages visited, referral URLs, and timestamps.

Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; aggregate and anonymize data for research, analytics, benchmarking, and commercial purposes; communicate with you about your account, updates, and promotional materials; detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data License

By using the Service, you grant MyCampaign a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, process, aggregate, anonymize, and analyze all data submitted to the platform for commercial purposes, including but not limited to research, product improvement, benchmarking, trend analysis, and the creation of derivative works. Aggregated and anonymized data may be used and retained indefinitely. This license survives termination of your account.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies as described below.

Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, security, and core Service functionality.

Analytics Cookies: We use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to collect and analyze usage data. These services may use cookies to track your interactions with the Service and compile reports on activity.

Advertising & Remarketing Cookies: We may use advertising cookies and remarketing pixels from third-party platforms to deliver targeted advertisements. These technologies may collect information about your browsing activity across websites.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase (database and authentication, encrypted at rest) and hosted on Vercel. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with providing information over the internet.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to operate the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), X/Twitter (OAuth authentication), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and advertising platforms (remarketing). Your data may be transferred to and processed by these third-party providers. Each provider is governed by its own privacy policy.

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, MyCampaign will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users within 72 hours of discovering the breach. MyCampaign disclaims liability for unauthorized access, hacking, or data loss beyond commercially reasonable security measures already implemented.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to fulfill our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated and anonymized data is retained indefinitely.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@mycampaign.io. Please note that deletion of your account data does not affect aggregated or anonymized datasets that have already been created.

10. Limitation of Liability for Data Loss

MyCampaign is not liable for any data loss, data corruption, or unauthorized access to your information. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any data you submit to the Service.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
